Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AudioShrimp handles information when you use the AudioShrimp website and private Beta.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use AudioShrimp, we may process account information such as your email address, username, profile information, uploaded content and metadata, messages, comments, reactions, purchase or reservation records when those features are available, and technical or usage information generated when you use the service.
2. Usage and device information
AudioShrimp may process information such as page and content interactions, playback and retention activity, browser or device information, approximate location derived from network information, timestamps, and security or abuse-prevention signals.
AudioShrimp may transform certain technical identifiers, including network identifiers, into hashes for analytics, rate limiting, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
3. How we use information
We may use information to provide and secure AudioShrimp, operate accounts and creator features, deliver content, maintain analytics, prevent abuse, investigate reports, improve the product, communicate with users, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Creator tracking integrations
AudioShrimp may allow creators or the platform to configure third-party analytics or advertising integrations. When an integration is enabled, browser-safe identifiers and event information may be provided to the applicable third-party provider. Those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
5. Talk
AudioShrimp Talk is designed for private communications. Talk message content and attachments are intended to expire after the applicable retention period. Certain operational information may still be processed as necessary for account security, abuse prevention, delivery, and moderation workflows.
6. Service providers
We may use hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, security, email, processing, and other infrastructure providers to operate AudioShrimp. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
7. Legal and safety disclosures
We may preserve, access, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the public, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our rules, or protect AudioShrimp and its rights.
8. Data retention and deletion
Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed. Some temporary communications or files may expire automatically. Other information may remain while your account is active or as needed for security, legal, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.
AudioShrimp provides an account deletion process. Some information may be retained where legally permitted or required, or where necessary to protect the integrity and security of the service.
9. Children
AudioShrimp is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13.
10. International use
AudioShrimp may be accessed from different countries. Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, subject to applicable law.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, or certain uses of personal information. AudioShrimp will provide legally required mechanisms as the service expands.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as AudioShrimp changes. The updated date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
13. Contact
Privacy and account questions may be sent through AudioShrimp's official support or contact channel when available.
